Honestly, I don’t want to choose sides also. I was lamenting to myself the other day about how I miss having close male friends.

As a kid and teenager, I had more male friends than female friends. I was not a tomboy, but I didn’t fancy many activities girls my age were doing. I loved sci-fi, cars, gaming, rap music, and other things boys my age liked.

I have always preferred the company of men; I have more fun there. But, sadly, I can’t have that as an adult because of how the world is right now.

It’s sad. I miss having close male friends. I don’t want to have to choose.
