“I love you, babe.”

Those were the words Anthony said before we heard the bell. We had just settled in for Netflix and cuddle before we were interrupted. It is 10 pm, for heaven’s sake; why will Sule let anyone into the compound at this time? I grudgingly stand up and walk downstairs, cursing the fellow interrupting my cuddle moment. I peep through the door hole to be sure it’s not an armed robber. It’s Femi, Tony’s business partner and best friend.

Ah-ah. What is Femi doing here at this time?

I open the door to find him furiously tapping his foot; his face contorted with rage.

“Ah! Femi, hope no problem sha. This one you are here at this time.”

“Is Tony in?”

“Oh yes, he is. Come in and…”

Before I finish my sentence, he barges into the house. I shut the door and follow behind him. He makes his way upstairs and storms angrily into the room where Tony is. As I am about to enter, he bangs the door shut and locks it.

“Kehinde, please stay away from this, so you don’t get hurt.” He says.

Get hurt ke?! Nah! Something is terribly wrong. I have never seen Femi this angry. What the hell happened between both of them? I try to force the door open, but it doesn’t. I stand by…
