The increased divorce rate doesn't benefit anyone or society. Nobody gets married, hoping to go through a hard divorce. It leaves people hurt and broken. So yes, there might be a correlation.

But that doesn't mean we should stay in marriages leading us to our graves.

Honestly, I hope we find a balance in the future. I hope society and men stop treating women as slaves and treat us as fellow humans. We aren't asking for much, just to be treated as equals.
